Carmen grew up as a competitive figure skater and ballet dancer. She now works as a professional singer and actor in both New York and California.

Her body of artistic work includes many leading roles in musicals, short films, commercials, motion capture and professional ice skating shows.

Ice Skating & Dance

Carmen debuted the role of the "Live Host" on the National Tour of Disney On Ice. She has also performed with several other professional ice shows including the Great America Theme Park and Snoopy Home Ice Skating Shows with Redwood Ice Theatre Company.

During her competitive ice skating career, Carmen became a US Figure Skating double gold medalist and was the Artistic National champion. She also won several artistic awards including "Most Artistic Freeskate" at Showcase competitions throughout the Bay Area.

Carmen grew up as a classical ballet dancer and has trained in many other styles including lyrical jazz, tap, flamenco, hip hop, and contemporary. Carmen danced as a soloist with the San Francisco Academy of Ballet Chamber Dance and Santa Rosa Dance Theater.

Carmen has a passion for social justice work. She is now the co-director of the SOL Community Arts outreach program: providing art opportunities to marginalized youth, creating positive social change.

After college, she worked as a performance director for artists with special needs and developmental disabilities.

Carmen is also the co-director of the FTA Protest Art Series, creating social awareness and community connection through art.
